The main difference compared to the basic variant is that the system includes a hybrid inverter to which a gasoline central can be connected, which can work with the system as a backup source, i.e. that it can power appliances and recharge the battery at the same time in case of insufficient light for several days. The system is powered by a LiFePO4 battery, which is easily expandable and is currently the most used battery type for solar systems due to its safety and the ability to charge and discharge at high power. 4 pcs of 550Wp panels already ensure sufficient performance even in poor lighting conditions.
In addition, this system configuration includes the Cerbo-S GX communication module, which connects the entire system, allows remote access to the power plant, so you can see the current battery charge status, power from the panels, current draw and much more. In addition, other components can be connected to it, which will make your power plant "smarter". The condition for remote access is to have the Internet available at your facility.
The system has the same hybrid inverter as the Victron Energy Multiplus-II 48V/3000VA "At Home" system, so it can power exactly the same appliances with a power of up to 2400W, but due to the lower power of the panels and the smaller battery, it is not suitable for living, but rather for recreational facilities.
The "Golden Mean" system can power any commonly used appliances, such as an electric boiler, air conditioner, induction hob, kettle, compressor fridge, electric grill, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, as well as commonly used garden tools such as a miter saw, flex or electric mower.
